Amsterdam
Amsterdam in October… On paper, it didn’t seem like the best idea for a first romantic weekend. We pictured ourselves caught in a drizzle, shivering in the cold, desperately looking for a café to warm up. And yet, the stars aligned: soft light, surprisingly mild weather, and that autumn atmosphere that makes the city even more charming.
Amsterdam easily rivals Paris when it comes to inspiration, especially for photography. Every street corner offers something to capture—a warm-colored façade, the reflection of the canals, a row of bicycles leaning against a railing. Its architecture, red brick buildings, narrow streets, and laid-back rhythm make it feel timeless. I never tire of wandering through its streets, watching locals glide by on their bikes, soaking in a city.
